This is a no-squee-harshing zone.
Seriously. I might actually defriend you if you try to harsh my squee.
So far my flist is saying exactly what I would say about this book. It's tons of love, and smug "We knew that!" and general satisfaction. I can't actually find anything I *dislike* about the book. (And I won't be trying, either. Please don't try to convince me if *you* do.) The closest I come is general "meh" about the epilogue and even that is mostly derailed by Albus Severus and Draco and Harry putting their kids on the train. *flail*
As shinybug said "there are so many different endings that fandom theorized on but never expected to have all in one book."
I'm contemplating making a list of "I've read that fic." Because I seriously had those moments, gleeful wonderful moments where I was so thrilled to see my favorite fanon points become canon.
OMG SNAPE.
I'm actually completely thrilled by Not-so-perfect!Dumbledore. He became very real to me in this book.
And Kreatcher. Oh dear sweet poor fucked up Kreatcher. I knew he drank that nasty potion. I just didn't think it was Voldy who'd made him, I really seriously thought Regulus showed the same disdain for the little guys and made him do it. I love the Blacks, because honestly, Bellatrix is the only one we've *met* who was entirely made of scary crazy evil. (Also, Voldemort/Bellatrix anyone? *shudders*)
Ron speaking parseltongue? Made of awesome.
I just. There's too much for me to go into coherently right now. I'm sure I will post later. I'm...yeah Still flailing.
